these shots are from thursday evening.

this is about the best i have gotten lately!  haha!

peek a boo!

he had something in his beak…maybe an insect?

had a busy saturday….so these are from sunday.  not a bad day @ all!  🙂

juvenile “good” mourning dove — as keira calls them!  hehe…

this one visits frequently….it has some sort of growth on its neck….strange or normal?

mr. hairy stopped by again!

he took a chunk out of the deck railing!

this female downy could not get enough suet…she kept coming back and back….feeding youngins hopefully!!!

i know i look good is what this blue jay is thinking!  haha!
Breeding adult White-throated Sparrow, tan-striped morph??  or juvenile??

i love the backside markings of the white breasted nuthatch!

we were out in the driveway and keira spotted something across the road…she said look a new bird!  i ran to get the camera and was stoked to see a brown thrasher!!  wooohoooo!

this made my day!  another lifer!  i looked outside a little later after i took these and there were two of them looking for bugs!!  maybe they will stick around??  hope to see them again soon!!!

    Super collection of species! Congrats on the new sighting. Brown Thrashers are the state bird of GA and I have a pair here. Sadly they are declining in numbers so…it is great that they are in your area.

    BTW…Carolina Wrens are peaceful birds. They don’t have a “dark side” like the House Wren. Sorry the post was missed.
