LST 325

September 1, 2010

The first part of this post is not bird related — just wanted to share these pictures of the LST 325 we toured on Sunday.  It was awesome!  Here is some more about it:

“The LST 325 is a 328 foot Landing Ship Tank and was one of the first to be built and it is the only operational LST in the Unites States. This will be the first time an ocean going US Naval ship, an LST will have returned up the Ohio since 1946.”

this is what my fashion diva chose to wear on a 90+ degree day!  she was “fashion” posing as she called it!  haha!

it was a great day…..back to the birds…..

think this is a juvenile male ruby throat — see the speck of red — i cropped in closer….

nighty night!

Oh…I love ships. What a nice history lesson with cool pictures!

I love your latest (counting your last post also) photos of your Hummers! They almost but not quite outshine your beautiful daughter and you!

    Good post my blogging friend!
