Another beautiful morning!  What a great day of bird watching!!!  Lots of activity!

First, here is a picture of the deer over by the feeder in the front yard the other morning.  I didn’t catch them in the act of knocking the feeder back and forth but they sure do look guilty!  hehe!

Who knew raccoons liked suet too?  I woke up Friday night to the dogs barking so I looked out the slider doors and there are 2 raccoons just feasting away!  Big ones too!  I scared them off.  The last 2 mornings the suet cage on the deck has been opened and emptied out!  So, AFTER my husband hooked it on the railing due to the big red squirrel (which I got a pic of him in the act this morning) I am going to have to bring it in every evening.  Jeesh!  haha!

Back to birds.

…1st sighting:  brown-headed cowbird…

…1st sighting:  male house finch…

…male cardinal…

…female northern flicker…

this was the first thing i saw and it just makes my day!

…female red-bellied woodpeckers…

i love how you can’t see hardly any red on this one.

these 2 females were chasing each other around all morning!  when one would go for the suet or food the other would block it.  it was awesome!

“double vision”

..male red-bellied…
